What is dora?

 A DORA is a specified area of land, no more than 150 contiguous acres, designated as exempt from certain open container provisions. This means someone can leave an establishment with an open alcoholic beverage container if they stay within that specific area. 

DORA Bounderies

 The Coshocton DORA stretches from Seventh Street along Chestnut and Walnut streets up to the Muskingum River and over the Three Rivers Bridge to include the areas of Roscoe Village and Clary Gardens. There's about a dozen restaurants and liquor permit holders in the area. 

DORA RULES AND REGULATIONS

Hours for the DORA:

7 days a week - 11:00am-11:00pm

*Sunday depends on each restaurant or bar*

Beverages must be purchased in a DORA specific cup to leave the establishment. You must stay within the DORA boundaries. Refer to the map above for the boundaries.

DORA cups must be thrown away prior to entering ANY establishment, even permitted ones (those who hold liquor license)

Most importantly, drink responsibly and have fun!
