Explore Downtown Coshocton’s DORA Experience

Enjoy strolling with a drink in hand as you take in our historic district — within the designated DORA boundaries.

What is the DORA?

A Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) is a mapped zone where licensed beverage containers may be carried outside of an establishment, under specific rules. In Downtown Coshocton, the DORA empowers you to experience Main Street, the riverfront and neighborhood businesses in a whole new way.

Boundaries & Area

Our DORA spans from Seventh Street along Chestnut and Walnut, across the Three Rivers Bridge to include areas of Roscoe Village and Clary Gardens. Use the map below to view the exact boundary.

How It Works: Rules & Regulations

  • Operating Hours: Every day, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Sunday hours may vary by business)

  • Carry-out Rules: Beverages purchased from a participating location must be in an official DORA cup to be carried outside.

  • Inside Businesses: If you’re re-entering any licensed business (even one participating), your DORA drink must be disposed of.

  • Stay Within the Zone: Drinks must remain within the mapped DORA boundary while being carried outside.

  • Drink Responsibly & Have Fun: We’re all about community, safety and good times.
